Comfortable Seating Choices

We cannot thank you enough for your generosity! With your donations, we were able to purchase several flexible seating options for our students. These were used daily in our classroom, and every student had access to comfortable seating throughout the year.
We were even able to make up little beds for those students who just needed a moment to rest and add comfortable seating to our calm down area.
Not only did these seating options impact our current students, but they will continue to impact future students to come!”

We need your help suppling our classroom with comfortable, flexible seating options. We are both new teachers to 5th grade and have limited options in our classroom for comfortable, flexible seating. Our classroom is an inclusion classroom made up of a diverse group of students and needs. We service intervention/Special Ed students along side of regular education students. We are blessed with a new school with new furniture, however, the only seating available at this time are standard desk chairs. We want to provide our students with flexible seating options to help them succeed. By providing them with flexible seating options, we can provide our students with a more comfortable learning environment that will increase focus and student engagement. These options will also be used in our calm down area to provide a safe and comfy place to regulate behaviors and teach self regulation through growth mindset techniques.
