I teach my students about how their brains work. We talk often about how all brains are different. Some brains need more body movement to focus and engage. Traditional classroom furniture doesn't provide the opportunity to move around a lot. The furniture I am requesting will help my students focus their energy in a productive way. My students love having choices and taking ownership of their learning and environment. They can accomplish so much working comfortably. Flexible seating helps my students focus and engage with the learning that they are doing. The Chair Balls are perfect for kids who need to move. They can bounce while they are working and keep their brains focused. Some kids want to work on the floor and the Balance Discs will keep them comfortable. Lap Desks will also allow students to safely and effectively use computers while sitting in an alternative location. I have seen my students benefit from small environment changes and I can't wait to see how these larger improvements will help them grow!
