I have found these three Literature Books to be highly engaging for this age group. I often have students that do not like to read. Once they become hooked on these wonderful stories, they are unable to put the book down. My end goal is to help them discover the joy of reading while at the same time improving their literacy skills. I'm hoping to be able to provide individual copies for each student that can be used at home during this time of Distance Learning. Since I am teaching these students online, this will lay the foundation for discussion of the literature in our virtual classroom sessions.
