The students will be using the calculators on an everyday basis in class. Being able to have the necessary technology at their finger tips will help them achieve on standard timed tests. When a student has to do every problem by hand it does not give them the opportunity to finish a timed test. We will have two or three time test a week to track the students speed on completing the test in a timely manner. It has been proven if the students can improve their calculator skills then their ACT scores on the math test will increase 25%.
