  • A Book Where I Can See Myself

    Funded Jun 14, 2021

Thank you so much for helping to fund this project! My students will be so excited. I am more than excited to bring this cultural experience into my classroom! It is so important to have culturally responsive texts in classrooms where the students are a melting pot of cultures and backgrounds!

You are all amazing, thank you for everything that you do!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Ramirez

  • Paint Me a Picture

    Funded Apr 1, 2021

Thank you so much for all you do and continue to do to help myself and all of the teachers around the country working to make the world a better place for children. These books mean so much to myself and I cannot wait to read them to my students and watch them enjoy literature with characters that look like them.”

  • School Supplies for Remote and Classroom Learning!

    Funded Aug 31, 2020

Thank you so much for the generous donations you made for my students. Thanks to you, my students have been able to start the year off on the right foot with all of the materials they need at arms reach. They have had all manipulatives needed for math, ELA, reading and writing that allow them to complete assignments during remote sessions.

As each packet was delivered, they opened up customized care packages that contained all of the supplies they usually are asked to give when in school. Instead, the supplies came to them, and both parents and students alike were equally excited and grateful for the items they no longer needed to look for or purchase. Students smiled and opened packages with different pencils, scissors, paper, notebooks and various other supplies that would become essential to their academic success moving forward remotely.

The next projects moving forward will seek to provide the technological needs for each student as well as replenishing any and all supplies needed as we hit this half way mark in this school year. I look forward to bringing the kids more of what they need and more of what they want, that will allow them an even larger opportunity to reach their fullest potential as they continue in their schooling.”

  • Printers for at Home Distance Learning!

    Funded May 5, 2020

Thanks to you my students were able to access the posted material as well as receive material on demand on an as needed basis to continue their remote learning. This allowed them to get the individualized materials and support they needed to finish off their remote learning in June as well as begin this year with a head start on access to material.

I can't describe how thankful I am for the help that not only reached my students, but the siblings of my students as well, many of whom are also remote and doing school work from home. For those who donated and continue to donate to classrooms around the country, thank you so much!

Be safe and blessings to you and your families!”

  • Distance Learn at Home Classroom Tools!

    Funded May 4, 2020

Thanks to you my students were able to access the posted material as well as receive material on demand on an as needed basis to continue their remote learning. This allowed them to get the individualized materials and support they needed to finish off their remote learning in June as well as begin this year with a head start on access to material.

Supplies given to the children were used to support the children and their needs and helped to make each student feel like they never had to ask or worry about what supplies were needed for each session.

I can't describe how thankful I am for the help that not only reached my students, but the siblings of my students as well, many of whom are also remote and doing school work from home. For those who donated and continue to donate to classrooms around the country, thank you so much!

  • A Book A Day Keeps A Mind At Play

    Funded Feb 1, 2020

I do not have the words to express my gratitude for your support for our project. We try to offer as many opportunities to our students as we can, and your support makes it possible for us to continue to do this. The books provided will help to give them a rich body of knowledge that will lead to meaningful conversation both inside and outside of the classroom. My students will do their best to write/draw "thank you" notes! I appreciate your interest and support so much.”

IPads are a great tool for education and communication that can be tailored to each students specific needs. This form of technology provides my students with accommodations that traditional desktop computers can not. IPads are mobile and can go where ever the child goes, which means they have the opportunity to take their technology with them when they explore both inside and outside of their classroom! The touch screens make it easier for their small hands to navigate, which promotes independence for those who need support with eye hand coordination. IPads are user friendly for my students. Our class will use the iPads to strengthen student language, reading, writing and research skills. We will increase our technology awareness through the use of: interactive apps, Google, Google Docs, Internet Explorer and a host of student learning sites that support and promote research methods. Use of technology as a teaching tool will provide all of my multi-faceted learners an opportunity to become great thinkers, listeners, and explorers!
