Resources for Reviewing, Reteaching and Enriching
Funded Aug 9, 2022When I first saw that people had given to my project, I felt that the needs of my students had been validated and I was filled with immense gratitude to you for your gifts and support. Thank you so much for making this project possible for my terrific third graders.
The project materials arrived at our school towards the end of September. My students and I were so excited and looking forward to using these materials. My project, "Resources for Reviewing, Reteaching and Enriching," included draw and write wipe off boards for each student and 12 fine tip black dry erase markers. My students enjoy using the wipe off boards and markers during math lessons especially for fast facts review and other problem-solving activities. The Dry Erase Pockets are awesome! They are multipurpose and conveniently fit our activity sheets, including math teaching tools, that we use during math instruction and for reteaching and enriching skills and strategies. The white sentence strips are being put to good use on our Math Word Wall to display and model new vocabulary words as we learn them.
The school year began with a focus on multiplication which, for most of my students, was a new process or skill to be learned. My plan for the multiplication flash cards that we received was for students to use them to build fact fluency once we had established a foundation in multiplication and were moving on to division.
In summary, all of these materials are a blessing to my classroom. My students and I appreciate your generosity and thank you for choosing to support our project.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. DiCianni
