Headphones, Not Headaches!
Funded Nov 2, 2021The past two years have been both interesting and crazy at the same time. First, there was minimal tech in my classroom- shared ipads that were used just a few minutes each day. Then, there was COVID, where suddenly we needed more tech to reach our students at home. Last year, we were able to get 1-to-1 Chromebooks and amazing programs to use, BUT, horrible headphones!
Creating a project to help me with headphones, I was hopeful that I could get headphones that would match my amazing Chromebooks. A good pair would require more money than I as a teacher had. Thank you for recognizing my need for good and working technology in my classroom.
As I described in my project, our old headphones or buds did not fit the kids' ears. They fell out, broke, or would hurt their heads. These new headphones are amazing! They work, there has not been ONE complaint about hurting their ears or breaking right away. Life has been so much easier these days with working headphones!”

Funded Jan 23, 2019I cannot describe how with-it we feel now with our new head phones! I am always amazed at my students' capabilities when it comes to technology. This was no exception. They immediately knew what to do with them, how to store them, and how to care for them. They are so excited to be able to wear a comfortable head phone set, hear so well, and the best part of all- not be literally tied down to their Chromebook! The photos say it all!
Thank you so much for considering and accepting this project. It was such a boost to my teacher esteem to know that people care about me and my students and what we desire to accomplish.”
