Children learn through play. To have access to fun, colorful, sturdy tools for use during Literacy and Math Centers in our daily curriculum will help them to be engaged and excited about their learning. This will build momentum as they discover letters, sounds, numbers and other concepts that will give them a foundation for success in later school experiences. The alphabet tools will provide hands-on play that will improve their phonemic awareness and the math manipulatives will build their knowledge of foundational math skills. I know these interactive materials will help them to grow and develop into great students with strong reading, writing and math skills throughout their entire educational experiences. I hope to create lifelong learners and if I can do this with the help of these materials then I feel this is the greatest gift I can give them!
