First was a big surprise that my project got funded, it is somethig that kids really need. This school year my classes are over crowded, so many kids. This density sets is something that we use all the time. Thank you for your assistance and donation to my classroom and my students!”

According to Common Core standards, students must complete at least one lab per topic. These density block sets and pH paper will help students in building chemistry concepts in a simple, yet effective laboratory experiment on obtaining and analyzing densities and pH of different substances. Your donation will help me to conduct an effective chemistry laboratory experience for my students strengthening their understanding necessary not only for this class but necessary to apply in college, university, and in real life. Using the new density blocks, students were able to obtain mass data from four different substances for comparison of different densities with the differing metals. They were also able to obtain the volume of irregularly shaped solids through the water displacement method by using the graduated cylinders. Thank you so much for your support!
