Student college and career goals are achieved through successful exploration methods. During individual planning with students, a counselor uses many online resources, apps and forms to help bring students' ideas and plans for their future together. We like to engage our students in different interest inventories and career searches that help them narrow down options to help them through the arduous task of career exploration and college information. Having an iPad for student use would allow the student more freedom to self-direct their searches and to take responsibility to find out new and useful information that applies directly to them and their interests, talents and abilities. An iPad would provide the necessary technology students need to further their career exploration, assist in virtual college field trips, presentations in the classroom, online forms, college & scholarship applications, and so much more.
