  • Creating a Home Away from Home in the Classroom!

    Funded Oct 17, 2019

Thank you so much for funding this project! I cannot wait to share these supplies with my first grade friends. A classroom environment is very important and I appreciate all of the contributions that we have received. It takes a village to raise a child and I am grateful for this village.”

    Ms. Longo

  • Headphones Help for Interactive Learning!

    Funded Nov 28, 2018

Thank you so much for providing us with these opportunities with the headphones. It May not seem like a great deal, but your donation has made a great impact. Since receiving the headphones, we have been using google classroom more and more every day. I not am able to place interactive lessons where students are able to record and watch videos and have more interactive lessons.

In addition, this has provided students the opportunity for differentiation. This allows text to be read to some of our scholars, or many of the material translated to make lessons accessible for all.”

The greatest way for students to learn engineering is by participation. Many of my kids are English Language Learners and often feel alienated by the dated textbook or by writing unfamiliar vocabulary words. Having these kits provides a way for all students to learn in an inclusive, engaging way. Middle school is an integral year for building relations and developing social skills. Working in groups is a critical part of school and employment and want to foster that through community building. These engaging kits require and foster the teamwork I would love to see in my classroom.
