By having a sensory room available for the students who struggle with self regulation it will give them a place to calm down or let out energy (whatever their individual need). This will allow them to return to the classroom refreshed and ready to learn. It will increase their ability to focus and increase learning. Sensory rooms have been shown to help students manage their emotions and allow them to focus better when they return to the classroom. Returning to school after a pandemic the need for this resource will be far greater than past years. Thank you.
