Essential Supplies!
Funded Jan 6, 2023Thank you very much for donating helpful resources to my classroom. My students are grateful to have pencils, crayons, tissues, a rug to sit on, and more!
I wish you could have seen the look on their faces when the materials arrived, they were smiling and clapping. My Kindergarteners were elated to see the materials come out of the boxes as we unboxed the materials together. They were also excited to think about the possibilities of what they could do with their new materials. They were eager to begin drawing and writing with their new pencils and crayons. I truly couldn't thank you enough for helping to excite them to be hard workers with their new materials.”
With gratitude,

Funded Sep 27, 2018Thank you for funding our classroom's new easel! When the box first arrived, the students were curious and excited to see what was inside. A few days later, when the easel was assembled, the students shouted with excitement over the new addition to our classroom. They were instantly curious of its function and role in the classroom. I would be asked questions each day about its use and purpose; such as, "what can we do?" or "can I write on it?". To which, I would consistently respond, "yes, you may write on it" and "think of something you can try with it". Over time, the questions began to fade away and the students allowed their creativity to take over.
The students learned that they were able to access the easel as a learning tool and center. They began going to the board to practice Fundations, create drawings/ labels related to their stories, and line up to vote each morning. This easel has helped teach our young learners how to be democratic and take charge of their own learning; as well as provide and promote a differentiated learning space. The easel has grown to be a space for both teachers and learners to take ownership of during lessons and throughout the school day.
Thank you again for your generous contribution! I look forward to seeing the many transformations this easel takes on in our classroom.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Constantino
