    The resources that were purchased with your donations are so beyond appreciated. We've been using them A LOT (multiple times a week) and they have added so much color to our days. We can't thank you enough for them. The students were so excited when they saw the brand new supplies- and that's all thanks to you. Students enjoy a "math brain break" of doing division or multiplication coloring once they have completed their work, or on a Fun Friday. They take great pride in organizing them when we have classroom clean up time, too. The pencil sharpener especially has been invaluable.”

  • A Diverse Book A Day

    I am able to do so much culturally responsive work in my classroom using these books that you have so generously donated. My students get so excited each time I pull out a new book to share with them, and you can just tell that they love seeing themselves (well, characters who look like them) on the covers.

    I pick a few books each week to share with the students. I like to surprise them with my pick, but I also try to keep it relevant to any holidays, people, or events we may be learning about. We discuss theme, character traits, problem/solution, and how the books relate to our lives.

    All of my readers truly enjoy being read such wonderful stories, and the incredible illustrations that go along with them. I can't express how thankful I am for so many amazing books to have in our classroom library for years to come.”

    Receiving a StoryWorks Jr. subscription has been so amazing for our kids! It has encouraged a love of reading and shown kids that there is enjoyment to be found in a good read! They are so excited to look through a new magazine. We get access to amazing activities that target select reading skills and strategies that students need practice with. The material is high interest and keeps kids engaged. In each magazine, there is a variety of genres of reading to appeal to all of my readers.   • Engaging ELL Students with Technology

    From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU for sponsoring this project. It means the world to me that there are people out there who care for these kids as much as I do and want to have a positive influence on them. The tablets have already been taken out and used many times since we received them. The students love playing educational games when they've earned tablet time, and it's been such a blessing to have something for my entering ESL students to listen to books in English on when the other students are independently reading. The kids love playing the occasional non-educational game, too! They help me out by plugging them in after each time they are used, and making sure our tablet area is neat and tidy. The cases are so kid friendly and wonderful, and ensure that our tablets stay in perfect condition! What's been most exciting is watching kids WANT to use the tablets to practice math skills, listen to books, or watch fun educational videos. My lower level ESL students in particular have loved using this technology. I am eternally grateful for your generosity, and I know my students are, too! THANK YOU!”
