  • Social Learning Through Dramatic Play

    Thank you so much for your donation to our classroom. We received the kitchen playsets a few weeks ago and as soon as my students saw them, they were beyond excited to use them. The previous materials we had in our dramatic play area were over ten years old and the wear and tear was obvious. These new materials are new, shiny and bright. My students are drawn to them and to the dramatic play area like never before. My dramatic play area has become such a draw that I have actually had to set up a rotating schedule so that everyone in class gets to use it weekly. Thank you again for making a big impact in my classroom and in my students' hearts.”

  • Easy as A-B-C

    I was so excited to show my students the magnetic letters, boards, and lacing beads that we recieved thanks to your generosity. My students saw the custodian come in with the package and wondered what it was. I told them it was a surprise for THEM! We gathered on the classroom rug and opened the package. I showed them their suprised and the whooped and hollered with pleasure. The students have been using the letters to learn how to spell their names. I can honestly tell you that they love this activity and most have how to spell their name in record time!”

Students are always excited when we use technology in the classroom. The Infocus JTouch Plus will expose my students with multisensory learning. It will provide my students with a more student-centered interactive learning environment. One of the best features is that up to ten students can go up to the screen to draw, write or take notes providing them with a state-of-the-art learning experience. The smartboard technology will engage my students and provide them with learning opportunities not otherwise afforded. It is especially user-friendly for my young students because it is a touchscreen. Students will be able to navigate it better.
