The students and I work in small groups which can sometimes prove to be a challenge when trying to display parts of their phonics lesson. We normally do not work near an accessible white board or a place where I can put up chart paper to help them through the phonics portion of their lesson. Having a mobile dry erase board will be a tremendous help in giving these students a way to visualize what I teach them. Sometimes we need to see things on paper in order for us to fully understand things. I would use this dry erase board to help them break apart words and build them back up together, in order to strengthen their reading.
