  • No More Wall Projections!

    Funded Feb 27, 2022

My students and I are very grateful for your generosity. We thank you for helping to make our learning so much easier. God bless you for your obedience! My students will now be able to view lessons on an actual screen thanks to you guys. This will help my students to focus better as well.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Watson

  • Quiet Learning

    Funded Nov 11, 2021

Thank you guys for your donations that helped our project come to fruition. These materials were tennis balls. They were placed on the students' desk and chair legs. This helped our classroom to be conducive to learning. We are now able to learn in a quiet and peaceful environment when need be.

Also, my students are now able to move the desk and chairs around and not disturb us. This is awesome seeing that every little sound of movement of the desk and chairs would disturb our learning flow. Now, students are not easily disturbed by the moving of the desk and chairs. Thank you for some Peace and Quiet in our classroom.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Watson

  • DURABLE HEADPHONES

    Funded Nov 11, 2021

The headphones in which your monetary donations helped us to purchase are working miraculously. They helped my students to be even more independent and responsible in their own learning. However, when they saw these headphones, their innocent faces were filled with sunshine. Thank you for helping us.

Also, these headphones have helped us to turn our classroom until an intense learning environment in which every student is actively engaged without any external noises to disturb us. We thank you guys for fostering in our education.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Watson

  • My RIGHT to WRITE Again!

    Funded Sep 3, 2021

My loving future leaders will deeply like to show our gratitude for your donations. We could not have had this remarkable opportunity if you guys were not such great blessings to us.

These books have allowed us the experience and opportunity to write, learn how to write, and to be able to comprehend short stories daily for 365 days. Students learn the basic mechanics in writing. They learn the different parts to a sentence in order to only learn how to create and write their own sentences.

My students are very motivated to learn writing through the use of these books. You see students are rewarded for receiving 80% or higher for daily completed assignments. Therefore, my students are reminding me everyday to post the daily writing pages so they can began their task. Thanks for your donations!”

    With gratitude,

  • Math Restoration!

    Funded Sep 2, 2021

My students and I are very grateful and appreciative for your donations. Thanks for your support in helping with funding our math restoration project. My students are very interested and motivated when using this math workbook. It actually makes learning fun for us.

This math workbook helped to promote their learning in a fun and simple way. The lessons are short and precise. This allowed the students to quickly solve math problems in a meaningful way. The students sometimes are grouped with a partner, in small groups, or simply in a whole group setting led by a student.

This project helped to improve my student's confident level in math and to improve some of the many skills they lost during remote learning due to the Covid pandemic. We are forever grateful for you guys donations. Thanks for the blessing and many blessings are coming your way.”

    With gratitude,

  • My RIGHT to WRITE!!!

    Funded Aug 31, 2021

We are very grateful that you cared enough to help us with this learning material. Through your act of kindness, I was able to meet my students at their academic writing need. You see, I was able to search and find resources that was very much so needed, but wasn't funded through our annual district book funds. I had to take my students back to those basic skills that they had lost due to the Pandemic. Inadvertently, you guys helped me to help my students.

My students read everyday independently during what is called DEAR time (Drop Everything And Read) for 15 minutes. Then, they write about what they read for 5-10 minutes.

My students are very appreciative for this book and is using it daily. It helps them to refresh their basic writing skills: writing complete sentences and using correct grammar. We Thank you for your obedience in helping us to be better writers.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Watson

I work at a STEM school and we are working toward a 1:1 technology ratio meaning every student in the school has access to their own device that connects to the internet, be it a tablet or laptop/Chromebook. We have started with the upper grade students and will begin slowly trickling down to the primary students as funds allow. What this means for my 2nd grade students is that we are last in line and we only have access to the computer labs. This inequity affects my students as children in more affluent neighborhoods have access to technology as young as Pre-K. My young students need the same access to technology as older children and those who are fortunate enough to attend schools with more resources. With our new kindles, we will begin to build a technology foundation in the classroom and while they will share the devices in the beginning, this isn't the last stop!My students will use the tablets to access learning programs, eBooks, and websites from their seats without having to travel to our school's computer labs and leave their learning environment.
