Our quiet/library area doesn't have a soft place for children to sit. They are currently sitting on a school entrance mat (very uncomfortable). I would like them to be able to have a soft place to lay down if they're tired or ill, or a cozy place to read a book. I want to build literacy skills at an early age, so the children love to read like I did as a child! Recently, I had a 3 year old (non-verbal) who was sobbing all day. I was wishing for a soft place for him to rest while he was at school; I felt horrible that I ended up carrying him around the whole session because I knew he didn't feel the best. I am asking for large pillows, a comfy lounge chair item, and other smaller pillows/soft items for my students. I want a place where the children can relax, unwind, or lay down if they're not feeling well.
