Take A Journey In A Good Book!
Funded Jan 2, 2020OMG! OMG! The Harry Potter Books Are Here!!!!!! It was like having a second Christmas in January, my kids (class) were oh soooooooo excited to see that number one our request had been answered so quickly and two the order came in right after our holiday break! And so we are off to a great start this 2020 new year. We were able to find the best illustration guild online that matches with series, so it provides as awesome visual aid as we read aloud as a class we look at the illustrations on the smart board. All as we gear up for our big Harry Potter Class Movie Day. I don't think my little muggles could be any happier , so thank you thank you for giving my class this tremendously generous donation and thank you for inspiring young minds to explore new world and read!!!!!”
With gratitude,

Focus Project
Funded Sep 6, 2019Thank you sooo much for your compassion , understanding and your donations to our class. We are now able to have creative down time and continue the learning process even when we are not in the middle of a lesson. Legos are a creative way to keep our kids minds focused and interested in the tasks at hand. The goal of LEGO therapy is to build the types of skills that can help autistic children better engage with peers, share experiences, and collaborate. This means that the children who are likely to benefit from LEGO therapy are already at least somewhat verbal and able to follow both visual and verbal instructions.”
