Mental Health With Laptop
Funded Aug 23, 2024Thanks to the generous support of our donors, we have been able to integrate cutting-edge technology into our classrooms, fundamentally enhancing the way our students learn and engage with the material. For many of our students, this technology has not only made learning more interactive but also more personalized, catering to their individual needs and learning styles.
The technology we're using in our classrooms — from interactive whiteboards to tablets and specialized software — is transforming the way students engage with content. For example, our students now have access to digital learning platforms that offer instant feedback, enabling them to work at their own pace. This helps them build confidence as they tackle new concepts without the pressure of keeping up with the class.”

Funded Jan 12, 2023Thank you for your generous donation. My students were filled with great excitement when they saw the gift cards. In our classroom the students earn points for various things. They earn points for attending school and not missing more than 2 days, they ran points for completing their work, handing in their homework and having good character. They earn points for doing the right thing. AT the end of every month the students can use their points to get incentives. The gift cards were the most chosen incentives. The smile on their face when they get to choose a gift card are priceless. They have the biggest smile. They gift cards really help my students to stay focus and work a little extra harder. Again Thank You:) Without your help I would never have been able to provide the wonderful gift cards for my students.”

Funded Nov 23, 2022Thank you for the new laptops. My classroom dynamics changed when each student had their own laptop every day. Computer based work - such as writing and revising, printing, and sharing or collecting data became one of many activities happening in the classroom. Laptops also fit smoothly into group work for example, students collaborating on a written piece or sharing data can pass one or several computers among themselves, contributing to multiple aspects of a project rather than working on isolated units.
These laptops help me engage students in inquiry-oriented, project-based learning. I was able to try new kinds of projects with my students where they conducted original research and authentic scientific experiments. Continuous access, for my students to computer-based tools like word processors and data analysis programs facilitates this kind of long-term, in-depth teaching and learning.”
