The math and literacy file-folder games, blends and vowel sounds learning locks, and match and sort language quickies are all self-checking which will allow students to be independent while feeling confident in their ability to work on their own and at their own pace. The students will feel successful working on skills that will allow them to increase their reading and math abilities. These games and manipulative will allow students to be engaged as they work individually or in small groups on math and literacy skills at their level. The fishing for sight words and pop and match phonics games will be used to help students learn social skills such as taking turns, waiting, and working together, as well as learn academics in a fun way. The tray organizer will allow the materials to be organized and allow the students to access the materials they need.
