This will help my students be more comfortable during our small groups while allowing me to differentiate instructions.”

This classroom project was brought to life by Staples and one other donor.

I will use these stools around a kidney table for small group instruction. I need to fit up to six 5th grade students around the table at one time. Differentiating instruction through small group teaching is crucial in meeting students where they are at and helping them be successful academically. It can be challenging to fit six 5th graders around a kidney table. Having stools will help the students fit around the table more comfortably. It is difficult to stay focused and learn if you are feeling uncomfortable. I have set up my classroom so that the physical space accommodates differentiation. I now just need the stools to complete the taks!
