  • Help Wagner Jv Volleyball in 2024!

    The JV team has already shown marked improvement in communication, timing, and consistency in their setting, which is directly attributed to the focused and thoughtful instruction they've received. The players often express how comfortable they feel asking questions and how much they've learned in such a short amount of time.

    The players' enthusiasm to attend practices and their growing confidence in matches are a testament to the positive environment the trainer has cultivated. Their progress has not only made them stronger setters but more well-rounded players.

    On behalf of the entire JV volleyball team, I want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the setter trainer for the lasting impact they've made this season. We are all incredibly grateful for their hard work and commitment to the team's success.”

  • Wagner Volleyball Needs Your Support!

    Thank you again for supporting the volleyball program. We were able to help our junior varsity team with practice balls and carts. Both teams were excited to see the packages arrive and the girls used the balls as soon as we inflated them.

    Since volleyball is growing nationally at such a rapid rate, more young ladies are interested in playing and equipment like balls get used and unfortunately get work out quicker. These donations have been a "life saver" for our program. And yes, some even get lost when they find a "new home" in the rafters of gyms!”

  • Fresh Start for Our Volleyball Season

    My team of hardworking student-athletes were not able to play volleyball since November 2019. More importantly, the girls truly just missed being around each other. We were allowed outdoor volleyball from April 2021-June 2021. We all knew the damage that outdoor volleyball would have on our volleyball, but we went through with it.

    Once our indoor season in August was allowed, we realized that we had hardly any balls to practice with. Receiving 12 balls from Donors Choose was like Christmas morning! The girls were not only ecstatic, but felt "normal" again. From tryouts to today, we utilize the balls almost everyday.”

  • Let's "Bump" Up Our Volleyball

    Funded Jan 13, 2019

    Because of your most generous donations, our team's practices, matches, and overall experiences were outstanding! We now have more balls for practices and matches. We hosted our own tournament as well! Volleyball can be a costly sport to play, with tournaments ranging from $200-$00 apiece. Now our team can fund raise to play in more tournaments and really appreciate and enjoy the high school volleyball experience. Our team is more than excited to start our June preseason and making a run at a 2019 championship!”
