At times, students go on sensory over-load, reach a level of high anxiety, or need a moment to refocus prior to returning to the classroom. "Chill Ville" is the Affective Needs program's safe space to help kids regroup and return to learning. "Chill Ville" has the need for comfortable furniture and sensory accommodations that students can use to relax and feel safe while using taught self regulation skills to quickly return to the learning environment. The noise cancelling head phones and weighted blanket are specifically to be used to aid students who have history of exposure to trauma or struggle with anxiety recover in a healthy and safe way. The two bean bag chairs are to allow students to relax in Chill Ville."
