  • Back to School

    Funded Nov 6, 2024

Thank you for your kind donation to our classroom. Your kindness is greatly appreciated. As the supplies arrived, the students were eager to help in placing the items on the walls. The growth mindset poster was read by one of the students and provided them with alternative language in thinking of things and situations. The Figurative Language posters are perfect as in fourth grade that's a fun and interesting topic to teach. The Parts of Speech posters are bright and eye-capturing for the students.

As I provide instruction, you can hear the students as they look around the room to use their new resources to support their learning.

Thank you so much for donating to our classroom.”

  • Back to School

    Funded Apr 18, 2024

Thanks for supporting our classroom needs. Each year teachers strive to create a learning environment that is welcoming and comfortable for learning. As students spend a vast amount in the classroom, I believe it should be place that smells clean, feels clean and is clean. The items in the list allowed for us to keep the classroom clean during the transitions of the Mods. It also allowed for us to clean the individual learning spaces for the students. The scents created a space that smelled fresh and clean each day. I was able to use the ink cartridges as we printed assignments and for projects. It is a blessing to have access to such resources.

Thank you so much for your support.”

  • Pets Alive

    Funded Dec 20, 2023

Thank you kindly for your donation to our Pet's Alive Project. Our classroom is alive with a betta, tetras, and chickens. Our classroom farm is actually very inviting and engaging for the students. The students take turn feeding and caring for the animals. They take their jobs very seriously especially after one of the students over fed our first set of fish and we had to say goodbye to them. It was a lesson learned. We have since then maintained the same fish and we are observing them growing bigger as well.

The chickens in the classroom have been a joy. With food and toys we were equipped for the school year. The students could often be seen holding the chickens during work time or playing with them during classroom rotations. The chickens are very engaging and fun to have as pets. We thank you for making this dream happen for the students.”

Thanks so much for supporting our classroom. We appreciate your efforts in supporting our students. Your donation was able to support 72 students in fourth grade. The teachers were well pleased as well.

Our classroom was refreshed with clorox wipes for cleaning. Desk were cleaned each day and between the Mods to keep the students learning a clean environment. The students enjoyed the new soccer balls at recess. We had enough for everyone to form their teams and play. The bags also were great as we used them to give each student a gift bag for the summer filled with books, snacks and goodies.

Thank you for your kind donation to our project, "Snack Attack". We were able to celebrate our students and their growth in reading and math. Many of our students made a two year grade gain. They increased their reading level and math levels. We were excited to be able to provide some delicious treats to our students. • Classroom Farm

    Funded Jan 19, 2023

Thanks for donating to our Classroom Farm project. Your donation brings joy to about 740 students who are able to observe the chickens in the hallway throughout the day at times. We can't thank you enough for the opportunity of making this happen.

It has been a great joy observing the students as they engage with our chickens in the classroom. The students take turns caring, cleaning and playing with the chickens. This will forever be an experience they will never forget. Everyday the students check the water, check the food, and sweep around the chicken loft, as we call it. At dismissal, the chickens are checked on to make sure the area is clean and the children bid them farewell.

Thank you so much for your kindness.”

I am asking for cultural books that my students can read in the classroom and at home with parents. These books represent the cultures that my students are from. The students never get to learn or read about their own cultures, so these books will give them that opportunity. Students deserve to see themselves represented in books. These books will also allow students to involve their parents in their learning. Students can take the books home and read with their parents. This will also open up the opportunity for the parents to teach their children about their culture. Culture is an important part of life and students should be able to read about these cultures.
