  • Content Creators

    Funded Mar 23, 2022

Thank you for funding the students "Content Creators" project. Our student have been able to create online content for our social media page. They are able to travel to different locations with the equipment that was funded in this project. This equipment makes it easier for students to get different camera angles.

Our students are getting experience using industry standard equipment using the technology. The students are currently using the technology to shoot a documentary and the school news show. We are very thankful for your generosity and will be forever grateful.”

Thank You! for funding this project, the students are so excited to learn how to draw digitally. This hands on technology with using the iPad is extremely excited for out students. The students are getting hands on experience using digital pencils to design their art work.

The students enjoy designing on the iPads verse on paper, they have more options when they work with technology. The benefits of using technology to design is that you don't have the physical supplies to get a particular effect.”

  • Fuel the Brain

    Funded Dec 3, 2021

The students are excited that this project got funded because they love snacks. We have to share our cafeteria with another school and our students have to eat lunch very early. Now that you have funded this project the students can have a mid-day snack while they are working.

When the students found out the project was fully funded they were so excited. They start jump up and down and running around the classroom. The snack will not only help them focus during the day, but they will be able to use the snacks when they stay after school for after school activities.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Wells

  • Through My Lens

    Funded Sep 17, 2019

We appreciate you funding the "Through My Lens" project. The student are very ecstatic that they get to use actual cameras for class. Before the project was funded, the students had to use their cell phones.

The students will learn how to use the basic settings on a professional camera. They will learn how to adjust the settings on the camera to create a wonder portrait.

All of the students are excited about the new technology and are very eager to use it. I actually need to do another project because they have to share the (4) cameras. I don't want the students fighting over there cameras.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Wells

This project is designed to support our students in their quest to be better public speakers. The camera will be used to videotape students as they present their persuasive speeches. Student will be able to review, critique, and receive feedback from there peers to perfect their skills. They will also be able to see how they would be perceived by an audience based on how they speak. The goal is to teach students how to effectively use their voice to promote change and to be leaders in today's society. We are also developing a broadcast media program which will give our students the opportunity to have a platform to discuss student issue and to do onsite interviews.
