When students are provided a beautiful classroom with inspiring quotes and comfortable touches that are inviting and appealing they will feel loved and welcomed by the teacher. Also, there's a space dedicated for students to be able to decompress when over-stimulated with sensory toys and room to stretch and play. After being home for so many months and lacking the warmth of their teachers and peers, I want my students to have a space where they feel vibrant and loving energy. A place where they can feel I love them and I want them to be comfortable, inspired, and ready to learn. As many of my students have sensory sensitivities, creating personal and beautiful face masks for them will be an encouraging way to get them to keep their masks on throughout the entire day.
