We can't thank you enough for your generosity! With the help of your donations our classroom will now be filled with flexible seating options. We hope that with these new additions to the classroom our students will come to school each day eager and ready to learn. Flexible seating provides students in school with the opportunity to get out of the traditional desk and chair setting so that they are able to relax more while reading a good book. Countless studies and many hours of research have proven that when students spend their days isolated at individual desks, they are cheated out of opportunities to socialize with peers and learn from each other. Aside from providing a comfortable place to read, flexible seating allows students the opportunity to get up, move around and work collaboratively with fellow classmates. My co-teacher and I strongly believe that by providing our students with a comfortable and inviting space to work, we will see more enthusiasm and eagerness to learn each day.
