I am a Physical Education teacher in an elementary school in Alabama. Our students are from low socioeconomic backgrounds and do not have many opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities. These girls work very hard to achieve excellence in skill and technique.
The girls I coach are great examples for the rest of the school and are such a source of light for our school.
My cheerleaders enjoy representing our school at local high school games as well as school assemblies. The cheerleaders at our school practice two days a week and are very dedicated. Many of them go on to try out for middle school team as well.
