My students are looking forward to start playing instruments. They are excited about helping to start the band here at our elementary/middle school. By having musical instruments, including these trumpets, alto saxophones, trombones, flutes, clarinets, and snare kit, students will be able to perform for school events as well as concerts. By receiving instruments students will not have to share, each student will receive their own individual instrument. Instruments will also help students express themselves through music. The band program serves as a wonderful outlet for students to express themselves in a positive manner as opposed to the negative behavior they may encounter each and every day on the same streets as the Freddie Gray tragedy.
