  • Hygiene for Care

    Funded Aug 14, 2024

The students are able to maintain their care closet to make sure them an other fellow students are being responsible to their hygiene, and keeping fresh at all times. It is mostly used after recess and PE because of the energy the exert during those times.

The students were very eager to help students and themselves to stay fresh and secured with their bodies, because they know that when a student feels comfortable they are willing and able to perform well in school.

My next project consists of getting financial literacy resources for my students. They will be able to use real life ATM machines or cash registers to mimic processing transactions.”

  • Healthy Through and Through

    Funded Aug 13, 2024

My students are very excited to help each stay healthy, and put less sugar inside their bodies. When they have less sugar inside their bodies, they have more energy and perform better inside the classroom. They are able to move around and is less lethargic with less sugar inside their body.

The students were very excited to know they had snacks provided to them, and cleaning supplies to keep us healthy while we are in school.

My next project will be to get financial literacy materials to help us learn about real life machines: such as an ATM machine and a cash register.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Vasha

We are very grateful for the bright and colorful copy paper. The paper will be used for a variety of projects and classroom assignments. One of the ways the paper will be used is for Fluency and Sight Words to put in the student's Fluency Binder. They are required to read and recite these words daily. Plus, some of them have to time themselves by one minute to build their stamina. It will help them with reading Fluently and comprehension.

  • Ready to Learn Through TPT

    Funded May 17, 2024

Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. During independent work times they choose a location in the classroom that works for them. Currently my students are choosing to work in a variety of locations in our room such as: at different tables, sitting under tables with clip boards, or sitting or laying on the floor with a clip board. Making sure students are comfortable is an essential component in motivating them. I have noticed amazing differences in my students when they are given a choice in their seating. Most students want to use technology to help them learn better, and with the Kindle Fire tablets and flashlights it will help them to do that.
