Geoboards are good physical manipulative for students to engage in geometry concepts by creating geometric shapes with rubber bands. We would like to utilize Geoboards to understand the relationship between lattice points with isosceles triangles and right triangles. We also will be using the Geoboards to derive the intriguing results known as Pick's Theorem that relates the area of any geometric shapes to the lattice points. Geoboards are great in helping students visualize geometric objects besides just using pencil and paper. We will also be engaging with other interesting problems which requires making connections with various math concepts and utilizing problem solving techniques.
