    The kids were super excited when we received the new art supplies. We have already done two painting projects; one on color scheme and another on a bold watercolor. The students used the new paints and papers, and really enjoyed seeing their artwork come alive.

    Once the students were done with their work they put their artwork on our new drying rack. The kids said the drying rack was awesome because before their art took up space on their desk or their art was spread all over the counters. Now the room is free of clutter and their artwork is all in one place.

  • Game Time!

    Thank you is not even to describe how much your donation has meant to these students. Each week since I have received the games I have pulled some students to be game testers. I have taught them how to play a game, and those game testers have been teaching their peers to play.

    One game I introduced was Ticket to Ride. I have never seen my students so engaged, excited, and just having fun. Though while playing the game they had to make several decisions, make plans, and count on. One of the boys playing loved the game so much he cannot wait to play again and asked where he can purchase the game himself.

    The students are so eager to learn to play the new games, and really look forward to our weekly times where we stop to play games.”

    This classroom project was brought to life by Panda Cares.
This year I want to really focus on promoting reading. As a devoted reader myself, I read and learn best when I am comfortable. I want to set up a reading corner in my classroom where the students can enjoying reading sitting on their wobble seats or chairs. With your help, you will help foster a love of reading and a passion for learning. Also, I notice with flexible seating students are more focused and willing to engage with their peers or participate more in class. It gives students the chance to make this classroom their home.

About my class
