Book Clubs Motivate Students to Read

It is near impossible for me to explain in words alone just how thankful I am for your donations. As an English teacher it is my duty to help broaden the skills and knowledge of all students that come through my doors through the written word. Now, thanks to your donations, I can expand the student's horizons even more. Books are much like a portal into one another's mind. Portraying a new story or mindset for others to observe and draw their own conclusions through. Through these new books for my collection I can vastly expand the sort of concepts and world views my students can observe. Allowing them to draw their own conclusions in life by drawing on the past knowledge of others that has been written down and passed on through the generations.

Reading within my classroom has always been an important part of my curriculum. Not simply because of what the school district requires, but because the pursuit of knowledge through writing is something that I strive for all of my students to obtain and embrace. By adding more works to my available collection I have seen many students branch out to try new genres and conceptual writings that they wouldn't have simply sought out on their own. Had your donations not been present I wholeheartedly feel that many of the students who have come into my classroom would not be the same people they are today.”
