In a society that is based primarily on electronics, reading books is fundamental. It is important, as well as vital to enocourage and promote reading among our youth. In this project, I want to make learning interesting as well as relatable to my students' lives. My students want to read books that reflect real life experiences and concerns that youth face today. The #1 New York Times Bestseller book "The Hate U Give" will reflect on the ongoing events that impact the youth in todays society. This book will help give my students the coping skills that many of them need to deal with real life situations.
