These materials will help my students in many ways. First, the children will use the playdough during centers to build their fine motor skills. They will be making letters, numbers, building sight words, their names, and characters from stories. Second, the crayons will be used for our everyday lessons. They will be drawing illustrations in their work. Third, the dry erase markers will allow students to practice writing their name, letters, and sight words. The paint will be used to create paintings and other works of art. Children will paint pictures to go with stories and themes. Foam blocks will be used during center time. Students will be able to create buildings and designs during centers. They will be used every day during literacy centers and indoor recess. These materials will help foster my students’ creativity and build their academics.
