My students use two ELA programs to help them become better readers and writers. They use these programs while I'm implementing small group instruction with another group of students. At first, students received their own personal ear buds. This was a disaster because the wires ripped apart and students lost them. They then used inexpensive headphones. Because they were inexpensive, they eventually stopped working. Using the programs without headphones has led to students being distracted by another students computer and enabling them from fully mastering the skills being taught. With these headphones my students can concentrate on their computer and become one step closer of becoming better readers and writers!
