These materials will make a difference in my students learning, first and foremost because we do not have these items available in our class. The books chosen will help students not only in their journey academically but socially and emotionally as well. As students need to be engaged and active, the manipulatives will be utilized throughout the year in math, science, social studies, and reading centers. Through the implementation of interactive learning, the students will be engaged. They will utilize the science center to learn about the environment in which we live. The math manipulatives will assist students in learning their numbers, how to count, add and subtract. The shared reading books will allow me to read to the students about early childhood growth. Lastly, the literacy activities and packets will assist students in their learning of the alphabet and sight words.
