Thank you so much for your generous donation. It is truly so much appreciated. I am truly grateful for the materials donated. Working in a city school in the Bronx, it is very difficult to obtain and sustain resources. The students are so very excited with their new materials. They get so excited when they get new and fresh materials. Learning with new resources keeps children excited about learning!

Thank you again for being so kind and gracious in donating to our "Write On" project. Students now have resources to write and draw and explore different kinds of movements with different art materials. Having a large table to be able to set up as a writing center and then set up all kinds of writing materials give students the opportunity to explore and become aware of all the different types of writing tools and materials. As little as three years old, they are already so curious. Their love for learning is just beginning.”

I cannot thank you enough! Opening the dollhouse and furniture with family members opened another level of imagination for my little pre schoolers!! They enjoy playing with it so much! They take turns playing with family members and role playing. The furniture is so soft and completely age appropriate. Students are developing different vocabulary words both in english and in spanish. They learn the room names, the different kinds of furniture and family members. I'd like to obtain additional family members and furniture as well.”
This is my very first donors choose project that I requested and that was funded. Overall, I show so much gratitude and appreciation. I used to teach younger grades, then ventured up to fourth grade for a while and realized I missed the littlest learners. So, this past year, I moved back down to teach first grade again... and I love it!!!! I teach in the Bronx, and moving room to room is a huge task. Teachers pack themselves up and move most of their belongings themselves. Having the bookshelf donated helped me set up our classroom for my little first grade readers. The books can be displayed at their eye level and easily accessible to read their favorite read aloud. Thank you so very much for your generosity.”

Having books on display makes it easier for kids to see what books are available to them. I love displaying and changing the books every season, every holiday, or every unit. Having a large display center for books allows first graders to see all the different books available for them to read. Students will be able to see all the different titles available. It is so important to have students see the wide variety of different titles. Children can buddy read with partners in class. Children love reading with partners or even independently. Children would love this addition to their classroom.
