  • Support Small Group Learning with Engaging Math and Literacy Stations!

    Funded Mar 16, 2025

I can't thank you enough for your generosity in supporting our classroom! Your donation toward Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards will allow me to purchase engaging, interactive math and literacy games that will make small group learning more dynamic and meaningful for my students.

These resources will provide hands-on opportunities for my students to strengthen their skills in a fun and collaborative way. Whether they’re tackling math challenges or diving into literacy activities, your support ensures that learning is both engaging and effective.

Your kindness makes a real difference. Thank you for helping to create a classroom where learning is exciting and accessible for all!”

  • Books to Inspire Students to Be Lifelong Learners

    Funded Nov 28, 2023

Words can't express how grateful my 26 2nd graders and I are for your generous donation of books to our classroom library. By adding these chapter series and diverse titles into my classroom library, I have seen engagement during reading time skyrocket. Students have fallen in love with many of the series, and have had the opportunity to be exposed to different styles of writing. After adding these books, students have started recommending books they love to their classmates, and we even made a "March Madness" bracket of the new books added to our library. Incredibly rich discussions centered around empathy, inclusion, and celebrating unique perspectives and experiences have been had in our classroom with these new books.

Not only is my current class enjoying the books, but these titles will be shared with future classes for many years to come. Thank you so much for supporting my classroom and amazing, inquisitive, hardworking students! We are so incredibly appreciative of your generosity.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Raney

  • Stimulating Creativity Through Art

    Funded Oct 26, 2022

My 26 fifth graders and I are deeply appreciative of your generous donation of art supplies to our classroom. You should have seen the excitement on their faces when we opened up the boxes of materials! With these new supplies, students have been able to tap into their creativity and create masterpieces that they are proud to show off. Students have used a variety of mediums including watercolors, oil pastels, and pottery to showcase their talents.

Art leads to increased engagement and self-confidence in the classroom, and my students have jumped at every chance to experiment with these new tools. Thank you for helping them to tap into their curiosity and creativity.

My class will continue to benefit from these supplies for the remainder of the school year. Thank you so much for supporting my classroom and my amazing, inquisitive, hardworking students! We are so incredibly appreciative of your generosity.”

  • Open Up the World to My Students Through Books!

    Funded Oct 21, 2021

Words can't express how grateful my 24 fifth graders and I are for your generous donation of atlases to our classroom. We have used the new atlases almost on a daily basis since receiving them, and by having access to these high quality resources, my students have been able to improve their map and social studies literacy skills. In previous years, my students had to use mix matched atlases that were published in the 1980s to study the geography of various places around the world. With these atlases, students are able to learn from current maps of the regions we study. We are enjoying learning about our ever changing world and studying different components of geography in depth with these updated atlases!

In addition to the atlases, the diverse read aloud books have opened up the world to my students. Reading is a way to travel around the world and learn about different customs and cultures, and we have done just that with these new picture books. We've traveled to Syria, China, Vietnam, Mexico, Iraq, India and many other countries just by diving into these new books. Incredibly rich discussions centered around empathy, inclusion, and celebrating unique perspectives and experiences of people around the world, have been had in our classroom after these read alouds.

Not only is my current class enjoying the books and atlases, but these resources will be shared with future classes for many years to come. Thank you so much for supporting my classroom and amazing, inquisitive, hardworking students! We are so incredibly appreciative of your generosity.”

    With gratitude,

I am requesting diverse read aloud books and atlases which will help to open up the world to my students who live in a small town. By having these books and atlases, my students will be able to explore the world and to see themselves in a bigger place. These atlases will be used daily to support their learning of maps and the world around us. Giving them new materials will ensure that they are current and engaging. Through exposure to a variety of cultures and experiences, I can help my students further develop their empathy and understanding of the world in which we live. These resources will help students have an appreciation of the different cultures that make up their diverse community. Books should be a reflection and a mirror for kids to see themselves and the world around them, and these diverse read alouds will allow them to do so.
