  • Take Chances, Make Mistakes, Use Your Brain and Build

    Thank you so much for your donations! My students are now able to use their imagination and build things with all of our new STEM materials. All of the students are excited to be able to create and build new things. They love showing me their creations each day.

    Giving the students the chance to use the materials after they finish their morning work helps us start off our day in a great and positive way. Students come in excited and ready to learn. Having hands on materials is the best thing I can provide my students at this age. Thank you!”

  • Celebrate the Letters We've Learned In Kindergarten

    Thank you so much for your donations to our class. You made the end of our kindergarten year one of the most memorable. Each day we looked forward to what surprise we would get for our ABC countdown. Thanks to you we were able to go over each letter and the sound it makes with a fun twist of a daily surprise for each letter.

    This made all the students very engaged and eager to remember their letters or to continue to learn them if they hadn't mastered them yet. The students will remember our end year together with the help from your donations.”

  • Organizational Supplies and Seating for a Chance to Soar

    Our classroom is way more organized! We are able to keep each students belongings in one space with easy access. The students are no longer searching around the room for their items they know right where they are located! They keep everything in their seat sack.

    The students were so excited when we first received our new rug! They took pride in making sure we are keeping it clean and taking care of it so it stays that way and does not end up ruined!

    The students were also so happy to have new play doh to have during free choice time! I overhear them reminding their friends to not mix colors and keep our play doh tools nice so we can receive more items in the future.”

  • Hands on Reading and Math

    Funded Dec 14, 2021

    Our classroom is so thankful for the new centers we have to use during literacy time. We received our donations while I was on maternity leave. When I returned I was able to share with the students that we would have new learning games for each center and they were so excited!

    The students faces were pure joy when they saw me bring in the new boxes. When explaining each game the students were able to show me what they had learned while I was gone.

    We will continue to use each game/center to help gain our knowledge and our abilities to read. These will help further are strengths and help with our weaknesses.”

The use of technology will help my students gain a better understanding of how we can use ipads for educational purposes. I want to show my students that learning can be fun and engaging. We will choose to use a variety of educational games to help with our reading skills. By donating to our classroom; You will be helping my students in getting a wide range of learning experiences through different technology avenues. Being at a low income school many of my students may not have the opportunity to use technology as a educational resource. With the chance to have ipads in the classroom I will be able to show them that we can learn new content or re-call old content with technology.

About my class
