Thank you for your donation. I am pleased that I can use the school colored printers to print my students' handouts. Today, We printed students' Google Classroom login information. I added Disney cartoons as the paper borders. My students loved Disney cartoons so much and kept the papers safely. My students will draw pictures online, build LEGO robots, and type short stories in Google Docs. My students and I are pleased that we receive new printer cartridges. • Elementary School Students Need 19 Balance Boards for Distance Learning

    Funded Aug 13, 2020

Thank you for your donation. My students are very excited when they see the balance boards. They love to practice balancing their bodies. They love to stand on the balance board and rotate. When they are in their lunch period, they use the balance board to exercise. It is an excellent warm-up before they eat their lunch. Next week, they will complete more complicated movements as they watch YouTube tutorial videos. • Elementary School Students Need 9 Drawing Kits for Distance Learning

    Funded Aug 13, 2020

Thank you for your donation. My pre-k students receive many drawing kits, such as whiteboards, dry markers, colored pencils, and drawing books. They love drawing and share their thoughts on drawing. Some students draw flowers, cats, or apples. After they complete their beautiful drawings, they show their drawings to their parents. Now, they enjoy coming to school because they love learning activities. Although students come to school only three days every week, we want to give them the best in-person learning experience. Simultaneously, we distribute colored pencils and drawing books to students to continue their drawing assignments when they stay home for the two-day remote learning.”

My students are African American children and Hispanic children. They came from low-income families. This project will be awesome for my students. Each month, a group of 3 elementary school students will use the Mindstorm education EV3 core set to build different robot models and develop their programming skills. Eventually, 30 students will use the Mindstore robot set in the whole school year. (3 students x 10 months = 30 students.) My students are excited to learn robots and programming. They need hand-on learning experiences to develop their logic thinking skills and problem-solving skills. Please help my students. Thank you.
