Using coding robots in kindergarten enhances creativity, content creation, choice of conduct, community building and communication! We will use the Dash and Dot robots to give the kids a concrete understanding of coding. The activity packs will help kids experience the math in coding and have fun in the process through STEM. The Dash and Dot robots will promote abstract and logical thinking through problem-solving while using them in the technology center. It will help my scholars to work collaboratively through the inquiry process, which is critical at this stage in their development. The coding robots and various activities will help prepare my scholars for more complex intellectual investigations and social negotiations that will be needed for a new era of innovation. My scholars would not otherwise have an opportunity to experience this type of learning.
