I'm a brand new Speech-Language Pathologist working at Lloyd Elementary school. Lloyd is a neighborhood school, and the vast majority of my students come from low socioeconomic status. I work with children from preschool up until they enter fifth grade. My students come from a variety of racial and ethnic backgrounds, and also have disorders such as Autism, Down syndrome, and developmental delays. Each one of them is unique and has their own set of strengths. My goal as an SLP is to provide effective, evidence-based treatment to allow them to better access their education and social environments, improve their communication skills, and most of all be the best they can be. They are some of the most motivated, funny, and energetic children I've ever met. I love going to work everyday and my kids are the reason why!
