  • Classroom Furniture for a Socially Distanced Class!

    My students and I are using the new furniture pieces to organize our class folders and rotations for differentiated instruction. The new furniture pieces make it easy for the students to grab what they need and begin their tasks independently. Having the furniture makes organizing my classroom so much easier. During this day and age it is important to have specific places for items that the students will be using regularly so that it can be cleaned and sanitized. My students absolutely loved the beautiful new items and were in shock that someone donated them to us.”

  • COVID Virtual Learning Help!

    The whiteboard and other materials that I received have been great during this time of distance learning. The students were shocked to see a big whiteboard and magnetic words. My students and I use the whiteboard to write about our daily writing such as character, setting and events. It is a great visual aide for them. Students can be all type of learners but all students like being able to use markers and other manipulatives. When we get back in our classroom the big whiteboard will help students working in small groups and also to highlight important information in a small area.”

IPad devices engage students in academic learning at various levels. Many students nowadays are very familiar with these devices and they are very important to their learning. Technology is our future and by having access to it at a young age I can help guide them to use it for learning. Not all students have access to the internet, a computer or tablet so they have to go to the public library or just not complete assignments. Students are expected to complete certain computer-based programs weekly and by having these devices I can assure that the students will meet their goals.

About my class
