Students can utilize the kitchen in order to connect imaginary play to real life at home. They can act out real life scenarios of cooking and cleaning. They can learn team-building by working together. With a larger rug, each student will have enough personal space that will enhance their ability to focus on instruction. The house area allows children to connect relationships, family roles, they will learn how people do their jobs, they can learn how people can affect their environment. Students can work on their social and emotional skills within this dramatic play area, by being able to understand and recognize different roles within a household, children can better understand family dynamics.
