Having the materials to engage my learners is essential to empowering my students in the area of science, technology, engineering, art, and math! With the magnetic board and engineer a coaster set, I plan on having students design and construct their dream coaster.. .they will also use in force and motion lessons.! With the STEM bundle kit, my students will get weekly and monthly design challenges. They will use the materials to complete these challenges. They will also use materials to integrate literature and STEM. I will use the building brick STEM kit, also use with weekly/monthly STEM challenges, work with our upper grade building buddies to extend our thinking and things like build a new setting for a story. These are just the tip of the iceberg of ways that I plan to use these supplies. I am always looking for new and innovative ways to engage my students.
