    Thank you for your generosity. Having easy access to math resources is a fundamental key to learning. The donated items provide a more organized classroom, and my students can access math materials efficiently.

    They were so delighted when they saw the donations, and many of them asked me if they could come during their free time to organize the classroom. So many of them started organizing the math materials by colors and shapes. They were so proud of how the classroom looked— An organized classroom helps my middle school students decide what tools they need to solve and show their mathematical thinking.”

  • Clean Classroom: Maximize Learning

    My students and I appreciate your generosity. When the supplies arrived in our classroom, the students were delighted!! They wanted to start cleaning their desk. This project is impacting ninety students. The disinfecting wipes are helping us to keep our classroom clean and safe from viruses.

    The past years have been hard for my students; some were afraid to return to school. The idea of sharing spaces and school items was almost impossible for some of them, but now we have enough cleaning supplies that provide my middle school students with a cleaner and safe environment.

    This year was challenging for my students and me as a teacher. I had never imagined that this pandemic would affect us so much. Many of my students began to experience anxiety and stress from the continual closures of our middle school. These last two months have been better for us because we are finally at school, and we have been able to use the materials donated by you. We have been using the donated materials to create math projects.

  • Glue a Piece of Fraction!

    I wanted to thank each of you for your cooperation. Your generosity made "Glue a Piece of Fraction" a success. Through this donation my students can find more easliy math materials and books. I noticed that my students were really excited because now they have a more organized classroom. My students and I created a study-workspace. The workspace is used to not only complete classwork. It is a space where students can read a book or just relax and chat with a classmate.

Students performance is better when they feel ownership of their work. A rectangular table will help students to have more space to complete any task. Some of the activities that we do in our class are small group presentations, station work, hands-on projects, and for Friday's socratic seminar. In addition, this project will benefit my students in many ways! They will have easily access to math materials and an organized environment.
