  • Technology for Science!

    I would first like to start with a big "Thank you." As a special education teacher in a district with limited resources I am constantly looking how can I help my students for little to no cost. My high school students has used this IPad daily to help with reteach, review and as a positive reinforcement. Being able to pull up images for the science curriculum on the spot has been a huge benefit to my students. We are able to find videos immediately to go into more detail about a topic if that topic is still unclear. As the students continue through the year we will use the IPad to encourage different ways to learn the material as well as reinforcement. Thank you again for your donation my students and I truly appreciate it.”

  • Color for Science

    I would first like to start with a big "Thank you." Working as a special education teacher in a high school with limited resources is a challenge in its self. Using the Epson color printer has made it so much more clear for students to see and understand the diagrams. We teach all the body systems and being able to have the students see the difference between the stomach, spleen, liver, kidney, large intestines and small intestines is a must. This printer has allowed for that to happen. The students enjoy the color diagrams as well as it being used for the test, no room for not sure because it was in black and white. This has truly impacted these students learning in such a positive way with just a small adjustment. Thank you so much for your donation to this project.”

Having students with all different ability levels this could be used to set up stations within the classroom. As well many students do not have access to internet outside of the school, so this will allow them to work on assignments with the support in a small group.

About my class
