My students have set a goal to read 40 books this year. Having a wide variety of interesting books will encourage them meet their goal. I’ve chosen titles that will appeal to my students with diverse backgrounds. I want reading to be a habit that we develop in my classroom that becomes a lifetime key to success. Many of my students come from homes where books are scarce. By providing a rich library in my classroom, I hope the students find that one book or series that sparks their love for reading. My goal is to encourage kids to read every chance they get!
